Belgium Outbound Tourism
About 30% of all holidays in Belgium are booked through the organised travel trade industry and this percentage is, contrary to other countries, still rising.The 27 members of ABTO, the Association of Belgian Tour Operators, who together control over 90% of the organised holidays, produced a combined 2.1 billion EUR turnover during 2009, accounting for some 3.2 million packaged holidays (packages including flights, accommodation only & city trips).
